HOME SAFETY TIPS

KIDS

When kids should still be in school, do not hesitate to call the Truancy Center at 975-2018 & 975-2019.    If for some reason you do not get a person when you call, you can also contact Tampa Police, Non-Emergency at 231-6130, and phone in a suspicious person call.  An officer will speak to the juveniles & determine if they are skipping, etc.   I encourage all citizens to do the same, as a lot of daytime burglaries occur when juveniles are out and about, instead of in school.
